Can Drip Irrigation without Film Mulching Be Favorable for Potato Growth in Eastern China?

چکیده

The main measures to improve potato cultivation in eastern China are film mulching and drip irrigation. However, the can cause soil pollution inhibit plant growth because of non-degradable polyethylene, which is component film. Whether irrigation without yield needs be fully explored. Field experiments were conducted at Special Potato Experimental Station, Agricultural University, Rizhao City, Shandong Province, China, 2019 2020 investigate effects wetted percentage on water temperature distribution, as well growth. In 2019, three treatments with 50% set up: black plastic (BMP2), transparent (TMP2), no (NMP2). 2020, added existing treatments: (NMP0) 25% (NMP1), (NMP2), 75% (NMP3); (BMP0) (BMP2); (TMP0) (TMP2). results indicated that did not have a significant effect (p < 0.05) temperature, growth, yield. Irrigation reduced by range 0.4 3.0 °C during high air season. significantly increased height, stem thickness, under treatment could 16.0–24.9% greater than non-irrigation treatment. highest use efficiency (IWUE) was achieved P1 P2, beneficial for saving. NMP1 NMP2 had 83.4% 81.0% higher IWUE NMP3 Considering environmental protection, resource conservation, economic efficiency, P2 suitable China.

Above- and below-ground growth of cotton in response to drip irrigation under mulch film

Long-term use of drip irrigation technology may lead to root degradation and affect shoot growth and yield. A field experiment was conducted to investigate aboveand belowground growth responses to drip irrigation under mulch film (DI) in comparison to flood irrigation under mulch film (FI) in cotton. The monolith method was used to harvest roots at seven timepoints in the growth periods, and th...

Rice Performance and Water Use Efficiency under Plastic Mulching with Drip Irrigation

Plastic mulching with drip irrigation is a new water-saving rice cultivation technology, but little is known on its productivity and water-saving capacity. This study aimed to assess the production potential, performance, and water use efficiency (WUE) of rice under plastic mulching with drip irrigation. Field experiments were conducted over 2 years with two rice cultivars under different culti...

Effect of water stress on potato product in the drip irrigation (T-Tape)

Using modern irrigation methods such as border irrigation is one way for an optimum usage of water. Potato, for this study, was cultured in a farm located at Kermanshah faculty of agriculture to evaluate the efficiency of border irrigation. The culture potato was the Agria variety and the applied treatment were 50, 75, and 100 percent of potato plant`s water requirement. Tapes were 12 m and the...

Effect of deficit irrigation on crop growth, yield and quality of onion in subsurface drip irrigation

Indiahas the largest area under onion (Allium cepa) crop but its average productivity (14.21 t ha-1) is considerably lower than the world’s average of 19.4 t ha-1. Besides low productivity, irrigation efficiencies are also very low i.e. 30-35% in India. Managing onion crop with less than adequate irrigation water availability is a challenge in several parts of the country. Options of i) deficit...
